JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties of the Channel Sales Manager
• Setting up new channel partners and overseeing the on-boarding process.
• Implementing channel marketing plans set out by the channel marketing team.
• Working closely with sales teams within the channel partner to train and advise.
• Monthly reporting on sales KPI’s within channel partners.
• Working to achieve sales and revenue targets as set by the Sales Head.
• Giving feedback to the marketing team on the success of sales promotions.
• Addressing customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.
• Identifying and reaching out to new potential channel partners.
• Working on cross selling opportunities within the organisation.
• Training on new products and services to all channel partners.
• Constant communication with all channel partners via face to face meetings, phone calls, Email, SMS and other social media communication channels.
• Meeting end users for presentations and updates on new products and services along with regular follow up. Focus markets are BFSI, Builders & Developers, Retail, Residential, Institutional, Industrial, Commercial and Corporate.
• Meeting other influencers and decision makers such as architects, consultants, contractors, law& order officers.
Background of the Channel Sales Manager
• Previous experience of driving channel sales ideally within a similar product category and same channel, however not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners.
• Strong personal network within the industry.
• Driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales.
• Professional sales training would be an advantage but not essential.

0.5 -3 years
Industry
CCTV / Security products is preferred but not mandatory. Any product sales experience is acceptable.
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any stream.MBA in marketing would be an advantage but not necessary. Relevant sales experience is valued.
Language Skills
Local dialect- spoken
English – write and read, spoken skills should be above average
Hindi: Will be an advantage but no necessary for South India candidates
Conveyance
Motorbike is required for daily work related use
Residence
Residence: Candidate should be residing within city limits of the base location
